hello everyone! here is a current update of what i have been doing this summer! i recently launched my portfolio and you can visit it here! using a free blogging platform. it is still being updated.
in addition to all my travels, i’ve been assisting gary paige of gary paige studios with a redesign of a 50s modern house in the hills of burbank california. we completely gutted the interior and am in the process of building cabinetry and flooring out of plywood and finishing the plywood with good stuff! (pictures will be posted here soon). i have a newfound respect for plywood anything – from furniture to flooring – the wood grain is just so charming. i am loving the design/build aspect of the reese house.
tomorrow i will begin a new research project for linda taalman of taalmankoch architecture, which will be paid! i am in need of some financial stability/income before school resumes on the 22nd of august. i have no idea what or how intense this project will be so i am also trying to make my rounds with friends asap! so aubrey…let’s make it happen!
more soon!
